Ordering Information

Our products are highly customizable and therefore it is important to choose all the options available and double check the options chosen before completing the order. There are NO RETURNS for custom items (example a particular scent and color).
In addition, not choosing an option will only delay your order. If one size/style is not picked the item may come up as zero in your shopping cart; therefore we will count it as not an item chosen (example: some scent samples require a choice or votive/lotion sample OR body oil).

Due to the increase in internet and credit card fraud, we may ask for additional information before your order is processed if shipping to another address or international orders. If we do not receive this information we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Damage, Returns & Exchanges

Every precaution is made to make sure items shipped are packed securely to prevent shifting and breakage. Nikki Makes Scents is not responsible for damaged packages caused by the shipping agent. UPS and USPS Express rates include insurance. If the item(s) ordered are fragile and the option chosen is USPS Priority/Global Priority, we suggest purchasing insurance. Indicate in the instruction box “Please add insurance to my order.” USPS insurance runs approximately $.50-5.00 dependant on the value of the order. We will add the actual insurance fee to your order. If items are noticeably damaged, do not accept the package. If opened and/or damaged, file a claim with the shipping agent (UPS if or USPS) and notify us via email or phone. After notification is confirmed, we will replace the item(s). If these steps are not taken and insurance was not purchased but you feel the item(s) were not properly packaged, we may ask for a photo of the damaged item or request the damaged item shipped back to us (at your cost) for a possible replacement at our discretion.

Due to the uniqueness of our products, items purchased are not refundable. All sales are final. Damaged items may be replaced. For hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for bath and body products. We suggest buying scent samples to ensure one is satisfied with the scent before making a larger purchase. Please email us if more clarification is needed on style, sizes, color, or ingredients of the product before purchase.

We strongly recommend reviewing the order before the final checkout. We will exchange items if a mistake was made before shipping. If the error was the purchaser and the item has been shipped, we will exchange the item at the cost of the purchaser to return the wrong item and ship the right item. If the mistake was ours, we will incur the additional cost to ship the correct item.


Please note; processing time is different than shipping time. We make our orders fresh to order which may take approx. 4-5 business days. If time is of the essence please contact us before ordering. Except for providing a tracking number, Nikki Makes Scents has no control over shipping delays and lost packages once it leaves our workshop. Please first contact the shipping vendor. As per USPS, first class mail can take up to 10 days and inquires to them should be made after that time.

We ship our orders via United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). All rates listed are actual shipping rates from the shipping carrier. Our shopping carts reveal all shipping options available for the shipping carrier. Although, we DO NOT ship packages via parcel post (except APO) or flat rate. If these options are chosen, your order will be shipped for the next rate for your chosen shipping carrier and the additional cost charged accordingly. If additional payment is not received (if paid via PayPal, check/money order) within 14 days, the order will be cancelled.
There are times when an order will not fit in one box (wholesale orders especially). To properly package and protect your order, multiple boxes may be needed which will incur additional shipping charges. We will notify you via email of the additional charges and/or require payment before shipment.

Summer Shipping

Effective June 1st – September 15th

Due to the delicate nature of our products during the hot summer months candles, bath & body, and some air freshener products will be shipped Monday thru Wednesday for domestic shipping and Monday & Tuesday for international shipping. The only exception is for express next day shipping. This is done for the well-being of your order. Please do not have fragile items left outside or they may melt or disfigure. In addition, kindly pick up deliveries from the carrier promptly to avoid damage.

Nikki Make Scents shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses of any kind due to your use of any product purchased from Nikki Makes Scents.
